About the role:The Confluent Partner Ecosystem team is looking for a Cloud Partner Program Specialists located in India to increase the Cloud “flywheel” motions that drive more demand and growth for Confluent.  This individual will be critical to the Cloud Partner team to assume administration responsibilities and support the partner cosell activities for our cloud partners: Google Cloud, and Microsoft. This will include data entry into the cloud partners tools, to free up the time of the Cloud Partner Managers to drive more high value engagement with our Cloud partners to support Confluent sales. 

As a Cloud Partner Program Specialist, you will work closely with Confluent’s Partner Ecosystem team and our cloud platform partners on maintaining partner influence and partner source integrity. Our primary objective will be to increase the engagement with partners by enabling the Cloud Partner Managers to scale and grow the opportunities to achieve our growth targets.


  • Lead all aspects of Confluent’s xCloud Provider Partner Portal including registrations, royalty reports, pipeline reports etc. 
  • Work closely with Confluent’s CSP Pod Team and Confluent’s direct sales team to execute joint GTM Strategy
  • Account mapping and sales team connections
  • Drive proactive reach out to xCloud Provider sales teams to discuss strategic accounts and ownership of scheduling calls between sales teams 
  • Work closely with Confluent’s Partner Sales Manager (PSM) team to ensure key opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly defined
  • Support partner sales to achieve pipeline and partner sourced goals
  • Facilitate proactive outreach on all cloud deals to increase the connection on partner influenced deals and qualified opportunities 
  • Understand the cloud provider on all cloud opportunities to facilitate proper alignment 
  • Actively engage on Marketing Qualified Leads from XCloud Provider leads to support xCloud Provider campaigns to progress from marketing to sales leads in 15 days or less 
  • Confirm data accuracy and maintain integrity of partner sourced and partner influenced leads 
  • Evaluate the partner’s performance via quantitative and qualitative metrics
  • Train and enable partner selling teams to cosell with xCloud Providers 
  • Own and evangelize our joint value propositions

What We're Looking For:

  • Self-motivated, innovative, and creative with time management skills.
  • 3-5 years of direct sales and/or partner sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Developing co-sell, influence and referral selling strategies is ideal
  • Track-record of cosell activity and engagement Organized and internally driven with the ability to navigate and execute across multiple teams in a fast-moving organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Exhibits a growth mindset, curiosity, and ambition
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a cross functional team and work independently.
  • Experience working with cloud partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Alibaba)
  • Reporting on partner lead targets 
  • Experience with CRMs (preferably Salesforce) and / PRMs 
  • Experience with AWS ACE, Microsoft Cosell, Google Cosell preferred
