About the Role
This is a leadership role within Marketing Operations and will work cross functionally to drive strategy, management and optimization of marketing technology and marketing data platforms for product led growth, pipe generation, lead funnel and campaign performance.

You and your team will identify technology gaps, define business requirements and lead vendor selection processes. You  will actively monitor and maintain the health of our marketing technology stack and assess the efficacy of our systems and processes in partnership with business stakeholders inside and outside of marketing. And you and your team will be responsible for implementing and enabling users on key technology and systems.

As our martech stack relies on robust marketing data, you and the team will define and align our marketing data strategy in service of our revenue growth engine. You and the team will partner across Marketing Ops and other stakeholder groups and act as our marketing data stewards; you will work with business partners to define data requirements and governance and you help ensure data compliance, cleansing, reporting and administration.

This is not a “stay in your lane” role as the ideal candidate should thrive working cross-functionally to help define strategy, eliminate ambiguity, derive insights that will inform decisions, communicate at all levels and foster collaboration to solve complex problems and create big picture solutions. Part technology strategy and expertise, business strategy and analysis, operations and project management, this role is ideal for a transformational leader.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, grow and mentor our marketing technology team to architect and operate a world-class B2B martech stack and marketing data strategy
  • Act as the marketing technology, marketing data and business process communication bridge with Data Science, Finance and our Go-to-Market leadership organization including our CMO and Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales stakeholders plus our corporate and sales business systems teams
  • Set and communicate our marketing technology and marketing data roadmap, overall health and investment priorities
  • Act as the technical expert to drive business requirements associated with tech investments, manage integrations and continually investigate new tech solutions; manage budgets and resource allocation to improve capital efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our CMO and leadership team for marketing technology and marketing data strategy, insights and direction

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8-10+ years experience in marketing or sales operations, IT or marketing technology 
  • Deep experience with modern marketing and sales technology stacks (Marketo, Segment, SFDC, Iterable, SQL).
  • At least 3 years of experience leading, growing, and scaling teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and a demonstrable track record of delivering high impact solutions.
  • Ability to think strategically while also being detail-orientedA sense of curiosity, willingness to learn, and focus on the customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries, and present to leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to link project outcomes to business objectives; expertise in cross functional team management, coaching and mentoring; ability to identify, mitigate, and/or escalate.
  • Maniacal about “system design”, understanding how everything works and translating requests and business processes into insights-based solutions. 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
