About the Role:

We are seeking a finance professional to lead our Marketing FP&A function. In this high-impact role, you will work with our Chief Marketing Officer and her directs to help drive strategic decision-making, provide financial insight, analyze all parts of the funnel, build operational rigor and efficiency/ROI metrics of our marketing spend.  You will directly own the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for this team and provide recommendations to Marketing Leadership. You will also be responsible for key financial deliverables and ad hoc analyses and help to define the processes by which we scale and grow these teams. Collaboration, enthusiasm,  attention to detail, and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines, a curious mindset, and go-getter attitude are essential for your success.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Growth & Marketing team to forecast return on investment of our marketing efforts, analyze our funnel, and help inform and support profitable marketing initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership on our go-to-market model, and analyze various marketing investments/channel to accelerate our growth
  • Optimize how we think about allocating resources between inbound and outbound SDRs
  • Help business partners gain key insights into spend with important and actionable analyses
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts that drive growth and efficiency, while delivering a high return on investment
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to guide operational and strategic decision making
  • Work collaboratively with accounting during monthly/quarterly close cycles to ensure all accruals are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Create and maintain management reporting packages, including key metrics and KPIs

What You Will Bring:

  • Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations to drive decision-making and execution
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) with the ability to understand and communicate difficult concepts
  • Prior FP&A experience at a high growth company, ideally, one that is a late-stage or post IPO
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated an extraordinary work ethic
  • A highly motivated team player - collaborative

What Gives You an Edge:

  • Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Anaplan
  • Investment banking experience
