The Head of Inbound SDR is responsible for maximizing the success of our core marketing efforts through building and scaling a world-class Inbound SDR business. As a tight collaborator with senior leaders in marketing and across the field you will focus on building consistent pipeline through the inbound funnel. You will build a best-in-class lead management and conversion process allowing our SDRs to engage in meaningful customer conversations, ultimately driving inbound pipeline generation. You will also be a senior leader with the Global SDR Team! Reporting to the Senior Director of Global SDR, you will lead our Global Inbound teams worldwide. Within these functions you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and program delivery, ensuring we are well-positioned to execute across the business. Lastly, as a senior leader in the SDR organization, fostering a culture of inclusion and excellence is required. Prioritizing SDR enablement and manager development will sit atop your list of priorities as we are committed to growing career opportunities for employees.        

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with key marketing stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to all marketing efforts requiring SDR follow-up. 
  • Allow Confluent to run a predictable inbound business. Have a strong grasp of the risks and opportunities across the regions as it pertains to our inbound funnel and early stage Cloud SDR. 
  • Drive SLAs, KPIs, and all key metrics across the Inbound funnel.
  • Focus on continuous and consistent improvement of our lead conversion mechanism.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership in Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Sales.
  • Work with Inbound SDR Managers to recruit, hire, and train the next generation of top SDRs and AEs.
  • Iterate, adapt, and experiment with a growth mindset.
  • Develop top-tier managers that carry a growth mindset and high standards for hiring.
  • Inculcate a culture of acceptance, diversity and excellence
