About the Role:

The foundation is here! You will have the opportunity to further build and develop our Global Talent Sourcing and Talent Branding function.  

In this role, you will directly contribute to Confluent’s overall hiring, diversity and sourcing strategy, targeted outreach campaigns, and candidate development initiatives. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to our TA leadership team with a focus on experienced market insights, data-centric thinking, and a bias for results delivered via operational excellence.  

You will inspire excellence through coaching, performance management, mentoring, and the development of employees and new hires. In this role, you’ll find yourself partnering directly with executives and organizational leaders to guide Confluent’s leading-edge, innovative sourcing model and take it to the next level. 

In close partnership with your Global TA leadership peers and our key business stakeholders, you will provide insight and expertise to localization and workforce planning initiatives and create targeted sourcing and branding strategies that enable scale. This is a remote-friendly US-based role and reports directly to our VP of Global Talent Acquisition.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive our global sourcing strategy and expansion aligned to Confluent's growth trajectory
  • Manage, empower and grow a globally diverse team of 20+ talent sourcers and talent branding specialists
  • Own all talent sourcing dashboards and analytics, inclusive of delivery metrics that enable and guide business outcomes
  • Optimize operational efficiencies and effective assessment processes that deliver a best-in-class candidate experience
  • Collaborate with our Talent & People Leadership team with the implementation of new ATS & CRM
  • Collaborate with business and recruiting leaders to develop targeted sourcing strategies and optimize sourcing processes, with a disciplined focus on exceptional support for our hiring stakeholders
  • Develop and drive our talent branding and diversity sourcing strategy, in close partnership with our DEI, Marketing, Talent,  ERGs and business partners
  • Active participation in cross-functional Talent Acquisition projects that enable us to take our Talent function to the next stratosphere

What You Will Bring:

  • 10+ years of proven Talent Acquisition experience in a hyper-growth environment, ideally a mix of both sourcing and branding-related role(s)
  • 3+ years experience in managing a global team 
  • Talent Acquisition experience within SaaS/Cloud Ecosystem
  • Experience hiring and developing engaged teams
  • Growth mindset, with an internal charter to continually identify new ways of working to challenge the status quo
  • Significant, demonstrable experience and knowledge of sourcing strategies, talent mapping, and talent branding 
  • Experience streamlining rigorous internal talent processes that will deliver exceptional results to hiring managers, business partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Best practice knowledge of developing forecasting strategies, team capacity plans, and providing important data that influence business decision making
  • Ability to develop creative strategies, coach, and lead through change with a voracious appetite to meet and exceed goals Driven & proactive personality with strong collaboration skills
