Our Internal Audit team is a strategic, proactive, partner and advisor to all parts of the organization. We move with speed, clarity & accuracy in supporting the growth objectives of the company through various initiatives such as managing risks and ensuring internal control processes are operating effectively.

Your Impact:
As an IT Internal Audit intern, you will partner alongside our team to collaborate and participate in supporting Audits of systems and IT processes and effectively evaluate risks associated with the identified systems. Gain exposure to Information Systems audit standards (COBIT and COSO). With appropriate guidance, you will execute and document testing of IT controls with clear explanations of procedures and results.

Who You Are:

  • Currently enrolled in 3rd year Management Information Systems (MIS) or within Accounting, Finance, or Business and minoring in MIS or other technical programs
  • Someone who has excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Smart, humble, and empathetic
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude
  • Have a strong sense of teamwork and put team’s and company’s interests first
  • You work to a high standard and have a healthy appetite to learn from the team and autonomously
  • Driven and excited about challenges of a fast-paced, team oriented & innovative software startup environment
  • You display an excitement and passion for your work

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. This position has a fixed salary dependent on your degree - Bachelors $22/hr, Masters $28/hr - and includes a housing stipend.

 

Confluent requires all employees (in office and remote) in the U.S. to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
