About the Role:
This roles involves in working PST timing for first 6 months post which employee will work on Indian timing.

Part of Sales Strategy and Analytics group under Sales Operations. Specifically within the Sales Center of Excellence team, which is brand new and being built out this fiscal year. This team is the engine behind driving a self-serve reporting culture using Tableau for the broader Field Sales Operations organization.


About the Opportunity:

This newly created role will be a key member of the Sales Center of Excellence team and play an active role in accelerating Confluent’s Data-Driven and Self-Serve Reporting culture. You will work as part of the team that transforms data into information, which serves as the foundation for analytics and insights. You will utilize your strong technical competencies to examine the unique needs and concerns of groups under the Field Sales organization to develop relevant practices and procedures for creating and sharing Tableau reports and dashboards. This position will report to the Manager of Sales Center of Excellence within the global Sales Strategy & Analytics organization.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Create highly usable and thorough Tableau Dashboards and Visualizations
  • Leverage your experience and conceptual knowledge on report/dashboard creation, creating report specifications, UAT & implementation support
  • Obtain feedback on iterations of the dashboard and work to incorporate feedback through continuous enhancements
  • Modify and create new data sources using SQL - Strong SQL skills is a must!
  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and high-performing reporting and dashboards
  • Collaborate with business and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and validation criteria
  • Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (e.g., parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards

 

 

What Gives You an Edge:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in business intelligence and analysis
  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining dashboards in Tableau and Tableau Server; You enjoy storytelling with data
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with operational reporting systems, data warehouse systems, and dashboards.
  • Ability to create and modify complex SQL queries that can feed dashboards more effectively
  • Strong understanding of systems and CRMs such as Salesforce (objects, fields, and relationships)
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of Sales processes, procedures, and internal controls
  • Self-motivated, responsible, creative, and highly driven
