About the Team:

The People Support Team consists of People Operations and HRIS teams, with team members globally in the US, EMEA, and APAC.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Sr. Manager, People Shared Services to lead our People Shared Services team in Bangalore, India. The role will be responsible for building out the operational framework, hiring team members, and launching the shared service group for HR. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of scaling centralized operations, including setting, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics. 

They will report to the Sr. Director, Global People Operations and HRIS (located in the United States) and work closely with the international People Operations team managers in EMEA and the United States.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing shared services team that supports various HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and HR inquiries.
  • Implement and refine policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery across the HR function.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Hire, develop and retain shared services team members, some of whom must work a split shift, overlapping with the United States, to provide support to employees in multiple time zones.
  • Partner with People Team Centers of Excellence and other stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the shared services team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Ensure that all HR data is accurate, complete, and secure.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience leading HR Operations shared services, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and scaling Shared Services groups including ownership of services, process improvements, metrics, and reporting.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, ideally with experience reporting into a US based leadership team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday and enterprise ticketing systems (Jira experience preferred).
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to work a split shift, overlapping with the United States.

Must have experience with Workday 

Willing to work split shift (probably for first 6 months) through launch and stabilization periods.
