About the Role:

The Payroll Analyst will report to the AMER Payroll Manager and be a key member of Confluent’s global payroll team will be responsible for supporting the AMER Payroll team with processing semi-monthly payroll tasks including the processing of off-cycle payroll requests and ensuring compliance with employment and wage and hour laws.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a problem solver, and is comfortable with challenging the status quo in order to improve and scale the function. This individual will have experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and business partners to drive cross-functional initiatives while ensuring strong governance and compliance.

• 2+ years of experience in payroll operations, operating at a multi-national company
• Workday Payroll experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including payroll tax, reporting, and required filings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $63,200 - $71,100 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
