About the Role:

As a Web Designer, you'll be responsible for creating beautiful experiences for the web within the Creative Brand Studio at Confluent. Discovering new ways to simplify the complex is our core ethos. You will collaborate with the design team on a daily basis to launch unique initiatives across the company and the world.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of experience designing, strategizing and systematizing complex web experiences and brand systems
  
• Strong portfolio of responsive website design samples
  
• A solid and demonstrable understanding of UX
  
• Experience with most design applications like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  
• Experience designing websites built with HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Bootstrap, jQuery
  
• Comfortable in ambiguity or when requirements are up in the air
  
• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
  
• Proficient in graphic design principles (typography, grids, layout, color), UX, UI, and IxD
  
• Desire to have a direct hand in transforming and growing our brand
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Firm understanding and appreciation of After Effects and motion

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of 93,200 - 107,200 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
