About the Role:

This role will be a critical part of our Go-to-Market enablement efforts within our Confluent Academy (CA) team. This role is responsible for further managing and refining our CA alignment with our Product Marketing Management (PMM) organization. In this role, you will be focused on being the key business partner with PMM and becoming a trusted partner between our organizations, and working with both teams to drive productivity and aligned execution.

The role will work with our internal CA teams to build alignment on a joint roadmap with our PMM org. As such, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successfully building and working across organizations to drive alignment and execution, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and developing and executing a results-oriented plan within a high-growth global environment. A background in Enablement, Product Management, and Project Management for a world-class, successful, global, multi-tenant SaaS business is essential.

This position reports to the Head of Customer Growth GTM Methodology.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Building a strong working relationship as a key stakeholder between our CA and PMM organizations.
  • Establish a working cadence with CA and our PMM team, where we have established norms of requirements, deliverables, and alignment approaches.
  • Working with our PMM Organization, build a joint roadmap that aligns our organization's priorities and execution.
  • Work with our internal teams to build an effective intake and scoping process.
  • Establish a CA communication channel and prioritization process before aligning efforts with PMM.
  • Building effective requirements and packages for our recurring enablement needs. New Product Introductions, Sales Plays, etc.
  • Build a cadence to provide and receive feedback between organizations

 

What You Will Bring:

  • BS degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Computing, Business, Operations, or Enablement
  • 5-8+ years’ relevant experience, inclusive of enterprise software sales businesses, strong functional domain experience.
  • Exceptional, demonstrable track record of relationship management, program execution, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to deliver results.
  • Working knowledge of the roles and team within Product Marketing, Enablement, and a GTM organization.
  • Participation in and knowledge of Industry and peer groups focused on building highly effective enablement for a GTM organization.
  • Open, growth mindset and high degrees of self-motivation, fostered in a face-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Strong presence, communication (verbal, written, presentation), and facilitation skills with experience engaging and partnering at all levels internally and with key external stakeholders

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of 168,300 - 197,750 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
