About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Analyst to support our consumption analytics, modeling and forecasting. This role will be instrumental to the foundational elements of the Product-Led and Sales-Led consumption modeling.  This role will report to the Senior Director, FP&A. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, innovative and will deliver top-tier results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Extract Product & Sales data to connect the dots on the motions and KPIs that drive incremental consumption and consumption acceleration
  • Partner with Finance, Data Science, the Product Lead Growth team, and Field Operations to analyze and report the growth metrics for the Product Led Growth motion
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models that track and analyze funnel KPIs and consumption and their impact on the company’s overall performance
  • Assist in developing and executing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning and forecasting processes for PLG and Consumption
  • Prepare executive-level management reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, or Economics
  • 3+ years of hands-on analytical experience in a high-growth company, preferably a company with a consumption-driven model
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills required
  • Effective communication at a detailed level while having the ability to elevate for high-level consumption by executives
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; must also be proficient using G-Suite
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations in order to drive decision-making and execution
  • Experience developing and improving processes with desire to inspire change across the org

 

What Gives You an Edge: 

  • Prior experience with PLG
  • Prior experience at a company with a consumption-driven model
  • Knowledge of SQL and BigQuery

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $99,400 - $114,300, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
