Who are you:
- Smart, humble, and empathetic

What You Will Bring:
- Graduating from a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, or a related technical field between December 2023 through December 2024
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms and proficiency in at least one of these languages: Java, C, C++, Python, Go
- Self-motivated and able to drive projects with mentorship and project requirements
- Smart, humble, and empathetic and able to work effectively in teams and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ready to make an IMPACT -- Driven and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative, and quickly growing software development environment
- Interested in building large-scale distributed systems
Location
- For our 2024 opportunities, you can apply from any part of North America (United States, Mexico, or Canada.)
- All of our roles are remote and require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. This position has an annual fixed salary dependent on your degree - United States Interns: Bachelors $45/hr, Masters 50/hr, and PhD $55/hr with a $2,000 USD housing subsidy and United States New Grads: Bachelors $125,000 / Masters $135,000 USD - which includes an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. For Canada Interns: a monthly salary of $8,667 CAD and Canada New Grads: Bachelors $120,000 / Masters $130,000 CAD - and includes an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
