About the Role:

The Manager of Internal Audit - Channel Partner will partner with the Head of Internal Audit to build the GTM (Go to Market) Audit strategy at Confluent. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assess GTM risk across the company and ensure risk mitigation through risk based audits.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Understand the risk landscape across Go to Market and especially Channel partners
  • Build a risk assessment model for identifying high risk channel partners
  • Perform channel partner reviews/audits and ensure they are compliant with contracts, no indication of channel stuffing, etc.
  • Perform other audits in sales ops function based on risk assessment
  • Partner with business/functional management to understand their objectives, identify potential issues and the root causes, make value added and practical recommendations, and ensure those recommendations are implemented on a timely basis
  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in annual Enterprise Risk Management activities
  • Exercise business judgment to prioritize and evaluate level of risk
  • Prepare clear, written, fact-based reports for board and management use and work with management on documenting action steps to reduce risk
  • Manage assigned projects within a team, such as audit planning, board report preparation, or provide training on emerging issues
  • Present regular status updates to the CAE and business leadership

 

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of internal auditing within Contract Risk Compliance function or experience working in GTM function
  • Understanding of how Channel partner program works
  • Prior experience with performing channel partner reviews, contract compliance in SaaS company
  • Big 4 Experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp business needs and objectives
  • Self-starter who is results driven and possesses a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong project management skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing, rapid-growth, fun environment

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $129,300 - $148,700, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
