What You Will Do:
We are looking for an Inside Partner Development Manager to reach out to partners who are just starting to grow their business with Confluent and partners that fit our ideal partner profile and become a Confluent partner.  This role will develop our partner ecosystem engagements with our sales leadership across the entire partner ecosystem.  The emphasis will be on managing the system integrator partners and helping them onboard and building their Confluent services practice.  
Apache Kafka™ and Confluent are powering the transformation to real-time business across various industries, which has a profound impact on traditional business.  This market shift offers a significant opportunity for Partners to build practices and solutions based on the Confluent Platform, On-Premise, and in the Confluent Cloud, which leverages their regional, industry, and technology integration assets. 
We are seeing a significant increase in the partner ecosystem's interest in (AMER/EMEA/APAC) to work with Confluent. We need an iPDM to join the team to develop a Confluent practice across a portfolio of our System Integrators.  

    • Work with top System Integrators (SI) to build competent services practices on Confluent Platform, On-Premise, and in the Confluent Cloud
    • Develop business plans and quarter goals for partners to strive towards
    • Qualify & convert inbound leads into opportunities for our sales teams
    • Leverage the system integrators as the orchestrators and influencers with customers but also triangulate with the other parts of the ecosystem including the three cloud providers, ISVs, and Global SIs. 
    • Participate in weekly sales training & enablement sessions
    • Work closely with Confluent sales teams to develop and execute key opportunities with partners.
    • Work with Confluent’s Partner Solutions Architects, Enablement team, and Marketing to enable partners to develop, launch, and support Confluent-based solutions and services

 

What You Will Bring:

  • 2+ years of related experience in partner sales, business development, and/or partner development
  • Passion for Sales and the desire to grow and excel
  • Collaborative and team oriented
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly driven, intelligent, motivated and coachable
  • Familiarity with GCP, Azure, and/or AWS offerings is a plus
  • Proven success in building ambitious, compelling business plans
  • A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of urgency and passion for making great things happen
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior executives
