What You Will Do:

  • Hiring driven individuals at the start of their sales careers.
  • Coaching and improving your team's skill sets to create future A-Player sales staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments in order to develop a sales strategy for enhancing the company’s growth
  • Effectively create and articulate value selling in various negotiations
  • Lead a variety of training sessions on a monthly basis, this could range from a small group to large group presentations and development sessions
  • Ensure that the company meets its stipulated growth goals
  • Assist with the pitch development process
  • Assist in building a high-performing sales process
  • Develop well-targeted strategies and sales plans
  • Ensure effective prospecting, up/cross-selling, pipeline development
  • Develop strategies for the allocation of resources for the achievement of the given quota
  • Facilitate and direct the use of resources
  • Assist the marketing personnel in creating programs and campaigns
  • Keep track, monitor, and respond to all company performances related to sales
  • Develop effective benchmarks for optimum team performance


What You Will Bring:

  • 2+ years of 1st line management experience within Sales Development or Inside Sales
  • Experience growing the lead generation team of Sales Development Representatives 
  • Account Executive experience a plus
  • Proven Track Record in over-achievement and a metrics-driven mindset
  • Empowering and motivating, communication training, consistency and reliability,  Be inspired and foster a high-performing sales culture
  • Proficiency in working with data, analytics, and sales. SFDC, Outreach, 6Sense, LeadIQ knowledge

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $101,900 - $117,200, a competitive equity package and is also eligible for additional commission and/or bonus pay. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
