About the Role:
The EMEA Marketing Intern is a new role that will have the chance to be shaped based on the candidate's experience, areas of interest and abilities. Overall, the intern will help with all aspects of field marketing. The role will be helping with the execution of marketing campaigns in the region and driving demand generation programs to build pipeline for the sales function. The role will work closely with campaigns, field marketing and marketing leadership helping support, execute and track marketing tactics for integrated campaigns - digital marketing, ABM, events, webinars, regional trade shows, and partner events.
What You Will Do:
- The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented self-starter who has a passion for tactical marketing, flawless execution, pipeline generation, a data-driven mindset and strong execution skills.
- Work in close collaboration with a range of marketing teams including Marketing Operations, Communications, Customer Marketing, Campaigns, and Strategic events
- Support for virtual and in-person events
- Help the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Work with Confluent’s partners to execute joint activities
- Research companies chosen for Account Based Marketing (ABM)
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
- Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance what we do
- Report on metrics and success
What You Will Bring:
- Current under-graduate studying marketing or business studies looking to have an internship during the summer 2024
- Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful
- Organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and hardworking
