About the Role:

Strategic Program Managers at Confluent lead business critical initiatives & operations across the company as a force-multiplier by amplifying execution efficiency and bringing a consultative approach to engagement. They are instrumental in guiding a seamless transition from big picture to details, while successfully navigating highly complex organizational structures within tight timelines. They drive cohesive cross-functional collaboration and governance for high impact programs across Confluent. 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Partner cross-functionally to establish key performance indicators, track program results against intended business strategy, and assess overall efficiency of the initiative
  • Act as a consultant in Programs, providing an opinionated view around problems and recommended solutions, while actively managing disagreements between stakeholders
  • Help disparate initiatives connect the dots between other key company-wide projects
  • Build cross-functional processes targeting key business outcomes and work across Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance to scale them up
  • Drive key insights on ways to increase operational efficiency at scale
  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability by measuring and communicating results
  • Facilitate key corporate operations such as OKRs, New Product Introduction, and Pricing

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in a high growth, product oriented company
  • Familiarity with SaaS/consumption GTM strategies and an understanding of Product lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to intuitively understand operational challenges and provide timely recommendations in order to drive business decisions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Able to drive alignment across stakeholders and influence outcomes & decisions related to key initiatives
  • Ability to manage using influence at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to clearly articulate information tailored to the audience across organizations including the executive team
  • Thrives on ambiguity
  • 7+ years of experience in program management/business operations with proven results within global, high-growth, technology companies

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $131,000 - $150,700, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
