About the Role:  

This newly created role will be a key member of the Field Reporting & Analytics team and will work across the Sales and CSG organizations to utilize our business systems data to analyze and provide insight into the organization's performance. Additionally, this role will apply creativity and analytical thinking to design and implement operational dashboards and ad hoc reporting.    

The role requires that you have a strong technical knowledge of database and business intelligence design, and how to transform data into insight so we can utilize world class functional dashboards, reporting, and analysis to ensure data-driven decisions are a daily part of how we work. To do this you will work with our Sales & CSG Strategy & Operations teams to provide business insight.     
A background in Tableau, SQL, or experiences supporting a pre-sales and/or a post-sales customer business is preferred. This position reports to the Sr Manager of Field Reporting and Analytics..     
What You Will Do:    
  • Create the Tableau dashboards and analytic reporting in business systems such as Salesforce that allow us to measure and effectively execute strategies that guide Customer Solutions Group actions and investment    
  • Own core activities for small analytic projects of moderate to high complexity    
  • Gather requirements, design, and build dashboards & analytic reporting based on stakeholders & leadership needs to help monitor performance for all key indicators.    
  • Work with Sr Manager, Field Reporting & Analytics to define and maintain a set of data definitions and available measures across the Field Operations business    
  • Work with Sr. Manager  Field Reporting & Analytics to establish a roadmap and rationalization plan for all of our dashboards, reporting, analysis tools, and processes deployed across Field Operations    
What You Will Bring:    
  • BS degree, preferably with a post graduate degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computing, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.    
  • 1+ years relevant industry experience or demonstrable applied knowledge of working with Tableau or other data visualization software, Salesforce, SQL (large data sets/data warehousing).    
  • The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements, set and meet deadlines, and deliver insightful analysis and/or models    
  • Keen attention to detail while completing complex tasks    
  • Open, growth mindset and high degrees of self motivation, fostered in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic environment

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.   This position has an hourly estimated pay of $40-$46/ hour. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
