About the Team:
The Business Systems team’s mission is to drive a coherent, integrated backbone of supporting software systems that is architected for growth, efficiency, and scale. The team is responsible for the overall global information strategy including systems design, architecture, and roadmap. The Business Systems team is an agile organization which helps improve company efficiency and support strategic business initiatives in partnership with its respective business stakeholders.
About the Role:
The Salesforce Technical Architect will be part of the Business Systems team. They will work closely with Business Analysts, Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Project/Program Managers to provide leadership and guidance on Salesforce technical solutions and the strategic roadmap of Salesforce.
What You Will Do:
- Design comprehensive and well architected end-to-end Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and requirements
- Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical specifications
- Serve as a thought leader for Salesforce development teams, helping to define and enforce development guidelines and design best practices
- Serve as a technical lead for the Systems NPI workstream, responsible for Salesforce design and obtaining sign off from business stakeholders
- Work cross functionally with other systems teams to ensure that cohesive end-to-end solutions are being delivered
- Provide thoughtful solutions and best practice recommendations to help resolve business challenges
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum five years of experience in a Salesforce Technical Architect or Solution Architect role with a focus on enterprise scale solutions
- Strong growth mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and processes Experience in the CRM domain; understanding of overall SFDC architecture and working knowledge of SFDC integration approach, architecture and release management
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Salesforce APIs, and other technologies
- Experience in designing solutions for Salesforce CPQ or Apttus CPQ
- Knowledge of JIRA or similar sprint planning tools
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
- Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work.
- Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
- Strong desire to learn and apply new technologies to business problems
- Growth mindset with the ability to apply constructive feedback to improve themselves and processes around them
- Ability to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessary
