About the Role:

Confluent is growing at an incredible rate with a large amount of our growth taking place within our sales organization. We are looking for a Sales Process - Manager to join our Sales Operations team. Reporting to the GTM Systems Operations -  Sr. Manager, you will have an opportunity to work cross-functionally throughout our organization on a variety of projects and really be a champion to drive systems and process improvements for the Sales Org. For this role, an organized, innovative, proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail is imperative. This role would be great for any Sales Operations Professional or Sales Professional looking to move out of a customer facing role and into an operations role.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Program manages our Sales Process improvements- by collaborating with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to incubate new initiatives aiming to reduce friction within the sales org
  • Improve GTM operational efficiencies through a combination of process, technology, and automation to improve sales productivity and insight
  • Actively participate in evaluations, testing and training of all technologies serving our Sales teams
  • Document and maintain field/sales process inventory that acts as a central repository for internal stakeholders.
  • Act as SME and internal owner for Sales Processes
  • Assist Sales Enablement on sales process and tooling changes that impact the field team.
  • Proactively identify problems and opportunities and perform root cause analysis/diagnosis leading to significant business impact
  • Analyze and optimize the end user experience within Salesforce and GTM systems aligning to our Salesforce first approach
  • Assist in defining, landing and executing on strategic initiatives for the Sales Organization; Works to remove any operation/organizational barriers
  • Continually look for and suggest ways to improve sales productivity, efficiency and effectiveness via our GTM systems
  • Stay on top of latest feature releases within GTM technologies

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • 4+ years of Sales or Sales Operations experience
  • Sales, SDR experience - empathy for the sellers experience
  • Understanding of core B2B Sales processes/methodologies
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS organization - preferably with exposure to a Consumption/Usage sales motions
  • Experience with process-mapping, and utilizing tools as LucidChart to document processes
  • Knowledge/experience with GTM systems (Salesforce, Groove, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Clari, etc)
  • Proactive and passionate independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results
  • Positive work style, focus on getting things done and a strong desire to learn and grow

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location.  This position has an annual estimated salary of $126,800 - $149,040, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
