About the Role:

Confluent is looking for a Senior Creative Copywriter who is creative, self-motivated, and organized. This individual should be capable of managing multiple active projects while collaborating with stakeholders across various teams. As a Senior Creative Copywriter at Confluent, you should have a strong portfolio of unique, high-impact marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with the Creative Art Director and other team members, including designers, product marketers, campaign managers, and strategic marketers, to elevate the Confluent brand.

What You Will Do:

• Create engaging, creative, and impactful ad copy that resonates within our industry
• Develop effective creative marketing campaigns across various touchpoints
• Contribute to the evolution of Confluent’s brand strategy, brand guidelines, style guide, and content typology
• Collaborate with strategic marketing planners, campaign managers, designers, and digital producers to develop concepts and assets that engage users
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior marketers and client service practitioners by clarifying business objectives, defining key messages, and differentiating Confluent
• Present creative concepts and copy to internal teams and clients, managing client revisions and reviews
• Recommend new creative channels, technologies, approaches, or assets for campaigns
• Participate in the Creative Development team by joining internal task forces and strategic initiatives

What You Will Bring:

• 5-8 years of experience writing and producing a wide range of marketing communication assets
• A strategic and conceptual mindset with the ability to balance innovative approaches with business objectives
• To be receptive to constructive criticism on creative initiatives
• Selfless and possesses a firm understanding of teamwork
• Clear, concise writing skills to distill complex ideas into easily understood language
• The ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
• Capability to interact with senior stakeholders and highly intellectual thinkers
• Strong editing and proofreading skills
• A Bachelor's degree in Writing, English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $135,900 - $159,660, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
