About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate AWS Engagement Manager to support the GTM and Co-Sales efforts with AWS in EMEA that drive high growth for Confluent. This individual will be critical to Confluent’s Cloud Partner GTM team and will support co-sell activities and operations as part of our partnership with AWS.  
As an AWS Engagement Manager, you will own Confluent’s co-sell pipeline integrity, deal registration, manage AWS credits and incentive programs, manage regional sales engagement with AWS, and also support regional GTM programs.  

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with Confluent field organization and identify opportunities to register and engage with AWS for co-sales 
  • Manage joint pipeline with AWS, and progress deal registrations
  • Drive proactive outreach to AWS sales teams in the region to advance co-sales efforts through AWS Marketplace
  • Manage various AWS credits and incentive programs to accelerate joint deals
  • Work closely with Confluent’s Cloud Partner Team, Marketing, and Confluent’s direct sales team to execute joint GTM Strategy 

What You Will Bring:

  • A self-motivated, innovative, and passionate individual with excellent business acumen
  • 3-5 years of direct sales and/or partner sales experience in a Cloud / SaaS environment
  • Track record of Cosell activity and engagement with a good understanding of enterprise sales process in a Cloud / SaaS enterprise
  • Experience with AWS Customer Engagement Portal, Salesforce, AWS Marketplace, AWS Funding Portal 
  • Organized and internally driven with the ability to navigate and execute across multiple teams in a fast-moving organization
