About the Role:

Our Marketing Operations Manager is an individual contributor systems-focused role responsible for the marketing systems infrastructure configurations and tools. You will develop creative solutions to operational challenges that require strong technical, systems, solution design and process-oriented skill sets to support Confluent’s marketing and product led growth (PLG) programs. You will own various systems, operations, automations and projects ranging from implementing new marketing technologies to designing and executing product trigger-based signup lead flow, routing and campaign experiments. You will also be directly responsible to execute, optimize and report on our marketing infrastructure components for marketing and PLG processes. 

What You Will Do:

  • Be the expert in our systems and systems design thinking to support Confluent’s go to market motions including PLG marketing, and product signup and lead flow management activities executed in our marketing automation infrastructure 
  • Lead system diagnosis and troubleshooting and be proactive in flagging and investigating system inefficiencies; actively ideate with the Confluent marketing systems team on solutions and improvements
  • Guide us to continually document, implement and adhere to best practices for data management, workflow automation, integration design and reporting 
  • Help manage our marketing technology vendor relationships and contract renewals
  • Work with stakeholders across marketing and sales to build out and maintain marketing and product led growth campaigns and nurture systems 
  • Hands-on work building out key programs and infrastructure in key marketing technologies including Marketo, LeanData, Full Circle, Segment and other product, lead and campaign management systems 
  • Work closely with Business Systems, Strategy and Insights, Data Science, Product Led Growth and Sales Operations teams to help align marketing, product & sales on key processes and programs for managing and measuring projects and campaigns
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database as it relates to product led growth flows 
  • Optimize our signup and lead scoring and routing processes, systems and methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales development for qualification, and to increase efficiencies and conversion rates

What You Will Bring:

  • 3-5 years of Marketing, marketing operations or automation experience
  • PLG systems and operations experience are a plus!
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Operations, or comparable experience
  • Marketing Automation Expert (Implementation, Integrations, Best Practices)
  • Strong working knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, and LeanData
  • Experience with Segment, Event and Webinar Platforms, Website Chat, CMS Platforms, Lead Scoring, Workato, and other marketing tools
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude. A self-starter with a mindset to investigate solutions and to optimize and improve our systems processes

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $92,880 - $122,760 an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
