About the Role:

The primary responsibilities will be to support and enhance finance systems at Confluent. This will include performing day-to-day administration and managing enhancements to finance systems, which include Netsuite and other ecosystems of finance applications. Plan and consult with business users on business process improvements to configure system features/functions. Implement and deploy NetSuite solutions accommodating unique industry, business, and management processes, regulatory requirements, and other business specifications. The individual will work closely with all finance users globally to help with enhancements to NetSuite and other finance platforms. He/She will be a great team player and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You will have the freedom to exercise creativity and display your problem-solving skills while contributing to Confluent’s growth.

What You Will Do:

• Development of scripting based on JavaScript and NetSuite requirements.
• Hands-on experience on the SuiteCloud development environment.
• Well-versed with SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow & SuiteAnalytics, SuiteTalk, and SuiteScripts.
• Work with the functional consulting team to deliver NetSuite solutions including customization, scripting, integrations & support case resolutions.
• Document business & technical requirements.
• Ability to author detailed design/specification documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, exception handling, and test cases is a must.
• Develop custom code using SuiteScript to meet business requirements.
• Code debugging & troubleshooting in an effective direction.
• Hands-on experience on NetSuite Integration with 3rd party applications.
• Plan, research, and advise on projects or peripherals involving scripting automation.

What You Will Bring:

• Must have 6-8 years’ strong experience working with ERP Financials (AP, GL, Procurement, Order Management, AR, Billing, and revenue recognition); Strong techno functional knowledge required.
• Must have experience designing and developing solutions using Netsuite and other related finance applications.
• Must have experience directly working with finance users in gathering requirements and developing solutions.
• Must have a good understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
• Exposure to agile process and project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Avalara, NetSuite ARM, Javascript or Netsuite Suitescript experience a plus.
• NetSuite development experience using SuiteScript 2.0, including but not limited to-Client Scripts, User event Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, and SuiteLets.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Background in software programming including Javascript, and HTML using methodologies such as DOM, CSS & OO.
• Database knowledge including Oracle & SQL.
• Skilled in integration approaches & strategies, preferably hands-on experience in web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, etc).
• Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities.
